The Outbound CSR (phone sales associate) will join our very aggressive sales and marketing team in a fast paced, fun environment. The position requires working independently with minimal supervision Selling Effective Nutraceutical Products and providing extensive follow up on all previous sales calls, focusing on outbound sales and additional lead generation for additional sales and extended product offerings to EXISTING INBOUND LEADS (this is not a call center nor will CSR be making cold calls).

Relevant telephone sales and customer service experience is preferred but not required. We will train you! High school diploma or GED required. Strong communication skills (oral and writing), distinct, confident phone voice with ability to "close" on the phone while maintaining customer satisfaction. The Outbound CSR must have proficient computer skills (working PC knowledge, Windows preferred and related applications).

The Outbound CSR reports directly to the Sales director of our Morganville, NJ office, but MUST BE ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY. The Outbound CSR department is responsible for following up on sale calls and generating leads for the entire sales division. THIS IS A SALES POSITION. CSR WILL BE EXPECTED TO MEET SPECIFIC GOALS ON A DAILY AND MONTHLY BASIS.

This position will quickly establish rapport with the customer, educate them on product offering and answer questions or address concerns regarding products and product usage, as well as assisting the customer in choosing options and products that best suit their needs. All product details, offerings and training will be provided.

The IDEAL candidate must possess the following REQUIRED SKILLS AND TRAITS:

  • Effective time management to meet or exceed company minimum standards of daily call and sales goals. You will be contacting customers in our database who have had prior experience with us. Again, these are not cold calls. These are customers that have expressed interest in our product offerings from now back six months. These are hot to warm leads.
  • Ability to listen empathetically and resolve customer questions while keeping focus on closing the sale.
  • Support the customer service division with extensive follow up calls and emails resulting in lead generation or additional sales.
  • Must have flexible availability.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment where changes are common and expected to improve upon processes and techniques.
  • Must be trainable and master the calling script, and understand the importance of following the script until tested changes are implemented.
  • Must be motivated to work independently and multi-task
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

  • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Telephone sales experience and/or industry experience is a PLUS.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft office)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and "close" on phone calls.
